25. John Kohmetscher
was born on Jul 2 1889 in St. Meinrad, Indiana. He died on Feb 11 1956
in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. John, the oldest child migrated to Duck
Lake, Canad 1915 and married Margaret Farcomb. Several years later, he became
a blacksmith at Carleton, Saskachewan, was their first mechanic, Imperial oil
dealer and Massy Harris salesman. They raised a family of 9 children, who helped
in his business and continued his business. He also did some wheat farming.
He passed away in 1956. (Lawrence, Nebraska 1884 - 1984)
He was married to Margaret Mary Farncomb on Jul 31 1916 in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada.
